DREAMWORKS
Munson Williams Proctor

Utica, NY
Spring 2003
On this project, Ann worked with
nine children and their families, all of whom came
to the project through the
Learning Disability Association of Mohawk Valley. Syracuse
University student, Jessica Mohr, and recent graduates
Lorie Dehimer and Sarah Siegfried generously donated
their time. The project involved Saturday workshops
at the Munson Williams Proctor Institute where we took
advantage of their amazing collection of art to tour
the galleries and discuss artworks that reminded the
children of dreams. The group then worked in a classroom
to create paintings, collages and constructions that depicted
the children’s dreams. All of this artwork was
either scanned or digitally photographed and assembled,
using Photoshop, into the final poster.
